The 'house of evil spirits' in Todorovo is said to stand on an old burial ground – night-time screams keep the villagers away.

In the village of Todorovo outside Velika Kladuša in northwestern Bosnia, locals point out a house no one will approach after nightfall. The place is known simply as the house of evil spirits. At night, terrifying screams and wailing laments are said to come from it, and those who have dared to get close tell of mobile phones and other electronics suddenly failing near the house. The villagers explain the haunting by saying the house was built on top of an old, forgotten burial ground – and that those disturbed in their rest have never forgiven it.
