Château de Trécesson is a red-schist 15th-century castle on the edge of the legendary Brocéliande forest in Morbihan. According to an 18th-century tale, two men dragged a young woman in a wedding dress here one night and buried her alive in the park — a poacher witnessed it all and raised the alarm, but help came too late and her identity was never discovered. Ever since, the "bride of Trécesson" is said to appear in white near the castle, and visitors also tell of ghostly card players in one of the rooms. The castle is a private home but can be admired from outside, mirrored in its moat.
