One of Sweden's longest stone-arch bridges over dark water — war raids in 1567 and a 'misspelled' royal inscription.

Eight arches, 64 m, built 1797 over the Svartån after the timber bridge burned. Here the Danish colonel Daniel Rantzau raided during the Northern Seven Years' War of 1567; the Swedes tore down the bridge, the Danes built a new one. The central piers bear Gustav IV Adolf's initials — the southern one 'misspelled'. [Documented; dark water lends a Neck mood, no ghost legend of its own.]
