In Huggenäs a tale was told of a greedy man, called Skjussen, who drove people for pay. Once a distinguished stranger wished to be driven to the inn at Ölserud, and on arrival he filled Skjussen's hat with silver coins. The delighted farmer gave thanks in Jesus' name, but at that very moment the coins turned to wood chips. Then he realized he had been driving the Evil One. That same night a man hanged himself at the inn, where the Evil One had hurried to claim the soul.
