From Strömfors comes the tale of Mrs. Viberg, a cruel lady of Ånäs farm, who went to the bathhouse one Saturday evening but had forgotten the soap. She sent the maid for it with the words that the Devil would get there first. When the maid returned, the lady's flayed skin already hung drying on the bench-shelf, so cleanly stripped that even the nails remained attached.
