When she blessed herself she was thrown from the cart - but a curse set things right again.

In Strömfors they tell of the mistress of the Herckmans farm who, returning from Lovisa, blessed herself at a hill. This displeased the unseen power that followed her, and she was thrown from the cart. Only when she cursed instead did the journey up the hill go smoothly.
