From Bromarv comes the tale of the farmer Bosa-jofs, who centuries ago made a pact with the Devil at Raseborg Castle. Three Thursday evenings running he went there hoping for riches. On the last, Maundy Thursday, he received a sack of money on the condition that he not look back. The sack was so heavy he had to rest at the bridge over the sound, and the silver remained when he died.
