The account is unusually honest: one of the two ghosts here is a blatant fake, and the other is not.

Old Main at San Marcos, Texas has two reputed figures, and the original account separates them itself, which almost nothing else in this collection does.

The fake is Lyndon Johnson, said to walk the halls. He attended this college, and attaching a president to a building is what happens when a story needs a name.

The other comes from before the renovation, and it belongs to the building as it was. Old Main appears in that state in the film D.O.A. with Meg Ryan, so anybody can see what the three storey building looked like before the work.

That somebody submitting a haunted place account would begin by dismissing one of its own ghosts is worth the entry on its own.

Old Main was built in 1903 and is the oldest building on the campus.

It is in use by the university.
