In Källsjö it is told that Barfoth of Böke once made Skam carry the cart axle half a mile as punishment. Meeting near Ullared, Skam boasted he had meanwhile helped Barfoth's maids sew caps on the day of rest. Barfoth ordered him away and scolded the maids at home, so that Sunday work in the parsonage ceased for good.
