On Iniö in Finland Proper they tell of an old man from Norrby who, on his way home, met the Devil at Skrattberg. The Devil set upon him and they began to wrestle, but that time the Devil lost: the old man forced him down into a pine root and walked calmly home. The same man is said to have boasted he could fling his wife seven miles beyond hell.
