In Ingå legend tells of a harsh mistress who constantly accused her tenants of arriving late. One morning she ordered a tenant to fetch the biggest tree in the forest, whereupon a stranger felled it and a black carriage drawn by two black horses rolled into the yard. The mistress was carried off together with her priest to a place where fire burst up through the floor.
