On Högsar farm in Nagu a labourer was said to have unusual luck with pike, a luck he had gained from the Devil by scouring his lure with human bones from the churchyard. Another fisherman who joined him caught nothing, however they swapped places. Yet the pike the labourer pulled up tasted strange - woody in the flesh and nearly impossible to eat.
