A man in Stamnared, whose scythe would not bite, received from a stranger a wondrously sharp scythe on condition that he never looked at its edge. The scythe stayed razor-keen however he cut through tussocks and stone. But once he forgot the warning and looked at the edge – and then the scythe turned into a goat's horn.
