From Holm in Dalsland comes the tale of pastor Lindbäck at Kroken, said to be in league with the Evil One. A serving girl there met a great black dog with fire from its throat. At a dance in Steneby a girl saw the fiend standing behind the fiddler, horned and hoofed, fainted in terror, and the dancing there ended forever.
