A little sneeze and the priest's blessing sent Skam crashing up through the roof.
In Lerdal the priest called Farsnubben is said to have stayed one night at a house where a woman lay in childbed, though he had been asked to move on. When the child was born it sneezed, and the priest prayed God to help it lest Skam take it. At that Skam was so frightened he flew up through the roof with a terrible crash.
