Parson Storm and Lake Vågå
Telemark · Norway · Natural site
The priest drove the fiend out the window so hard that the lakebed lay bare in his wake.
At Vågå a priest called Storm is said to have faced the Evil One after his servant boy read him loose from a book. Pausing only for a breath, the priest conjured him out the window and toward Lake Vågå with such force that a long strip of lakebed lay dry, and in the furrow a long-lost cauldron was found again.
