At Kvilldal it is told of card players joined by a stranger who always won. When one player bent for a dropped card he saw claws on the stranger's feet and cried out in Jesus' name, sending the figure straight through the wall. On another night a player was pulled into something soft as silk in the dark, and the game ended then and there.
