A foul-mouthed man accepted a lift from a stranger with a black horse – then saw sparks fly from its hooves.

At Ørvella in Hjartdal they tell of a man notorious for his cursing, who met an unknown driver and was carried a long stretch of road in barely half an hour. Only afterwards did he notice fire flashing beneath the horse's hooves. Then he realised just who had been his driver.
