This restaurant at Lehi, Utah is named for Orrin Porter Rockwell, who was bodyguard to Joseph Smith and one of the most formidable figures of the early Mormon settlement of this territory. The interior is done as an Old West saloon of the 1800s.

Rockwell was a genuinely remarkable and genuinely violent man. He was told by Joseph Smith that no blade or bullet would harm him so long as he never cut his hair, and he wore it long for the rest of his life. He was a lawman, a scout and a killer, and he died in 1878 awaiting trial.
