A child's headstone has a name carved on it in a child's handwriting. On the back are the names of the driver who hit him, and of the people who drove.
In this cemetery at Springfield, Louisiana there is a child's grave, and on the stone is a name written in what looks like a child's hand.
An update filed in December 2003 explains it. The carving on the back of the headstone lists the name of the driver who struck the boy, and the names of the people who drove past him while he lay at the side of the road, dying.

That stone is the most extraordinary object in this entire archive, and it is not a ghost story. It is a family who could not get justice through any other route, and who put the whole thing in granite instead, permanently, in the one place everyone in the parish would eventually come and read it.
What is reported at the grave hardly matters beside that.
The cemetery is a public burial ground.
