In the village of Musachevo east of Sofia stands a house the locals prefer to pass on the other side of the road. It was built in the 1970s, by tradition right on top of an old Turkish burial ground. The family who built it died member by member, though none suffered from any serious illness, and no one has wanted to live there since. The village elders speak of dark forces guarding the graves beneath the foundations, and the house has become one of Bulgaria's most talked-about cursed homes.
