The art deco palace on Granville Street opened in 1941 and, according to staff, keeps one employee who never clocked out. A dark-haired man with chiseled, severe features has been seen on stage, up on the catwalks and sitting in the projection booth's old chairs — one employee watched him stand in the booth doorway before dissolving before his eyes. The basement corridor is nicknamed the 'Haunted Highway' after countless encounters. The theatre manager's theory: a former staff member still working areas only employees frequent.
