Krenkerup is one of the largest estates on Lolland, with roots in the Middle Ages. By tradition the estate is haunted by several revenants — among them a White Lady and the nobleman Palle Rosenkrantz. The old halls and sweeping park lend the place the mood of vanished centuries. The estate remains in the Haugwitz-Hardenberg-Reventlow family.
