Lanyon Quoit in Madron near Penzance (TR20 8NY) is an impressive neolithic dolmen dating from around 2500 BC. Despite the indignities and damage caused by the elements and by local people, it keeps its dignity and is a powerful sight. The stone is said to have healing properties and is tied to many legends.
