At Nygården in Nittorp a man told of something that befell his great-grandmother. As she was going to the kiln to dry malt, an unseen carriage suddenly drove in. Then she heard two voices speaking of the discord they would cause in the homes on Christmas Eve, and how she would be made to spill the fish sauce. She took care, and made no fish sauce that Christmas. Behind it all was the Evil One, who had driven with two horses.
