In Skephult it was told how a priest brought his farmhand to a dance and let him stand behind him on his cloak. At once the servant could see what the priest already knew: the Evil One ran like a dog between the couples, licking those who danced. The servant wanted to go straight home and never went dancing again. The same priest was also linked to tales of driving out the Evil One through a hole bored in a leaded window with the word of God.
