From Tenala comes the tale of Laiska-Jako, who always wore one boot-top folded down and toyed with it in company. He had pledged himself away on condition of being fully dressed, and the folded top kept him safe. When a servant once slapped him and pointed at the boot, Jako thanked him for the reminder.
