A woman tending a deathbed claimed she saw Satan flee from the dying woman.

In Bromarv a woman known as Bröteskärran came to a dying woman in childbed whom she judged ungodly. She read the Lord's Prayer and the blessing, and afterwards told how she had seen Satan flee from the sick woman. It was neither human nor beast, she said, but something else entirely that left the body.
