Eden Hotel
Córdoba · Argentina · Hotel
In the decaying grand hotel of La Falda, a white-clad mistress and a girl who died of tuberculosis still appear.
The Eden Hotel opened in 1895 and hosted presidents, the poet Rubén Darío and even Albert Einstein, before its owners' Nazi sympathies stained its name and the building fell into ruin. In the upstairs rooms, the spirit of a girl who died of tuberculosis is said to invite visiting children to play. On the upper stairs appears a woman wrapped in white, linked to María Krautner, the hotel's owner in the early 1900s. Today guides lead night walks through the echoing halls.
