At the man-made lake above Chittagong, the White Lady warns night-time walkers of her dark sister.
Foy's Lake was created in 1924 by British railway engineers in the hills above Chittagong. For generations, locals have told of two female apparitions: the Black Lady, who suddenly blocks the path of evening walkers and frightens them out of their wits, and the White Lady, said to appear only to warn of her. Nearby residents have also described fireballs of various sizes drifting over the water at night. An amusement park now sits by the lake, but the old stories refuse to die.
