Prince House, Heritage Park
Alberta · Kanada · House
In the turreted mansion's second-floor window appears a woman in white, cradling an infant.
Lumber baron Peter Anthony Prince's turreted 1894 residence was moved to Calgary's Heritage Park living-history village — and brought its ghosts along. Most famous is the Lady in White, seen in a second-floor window holding a baby. Her identity is a mystery: Prince outlived four wives, three lost to illness, though some believe the woman simply followed one of the house's objects there. Staff report footsteps and doors opening and closing on the upper floor when the house stands empty.
