On a farm in Sigdal people played cards even on a Sunday evening after taking communion. A fine gentleman knocked and steadily won all their money, until someone dropped a card and found his claws hooked round the table's pedestal. He refused to go since they had invited him in themselves, and only the Røken priest managed to banish him through the door's keyhole, amid whining and shrieking.
