In Visby a very wicked and wealthy woman once died and was given a grand burial in St Mary's. The following night the Evil One came, lifted her from the coffin and flew out through a window on the north side. High on the church wall, it is said, one can still see the marks of her fingers, where she tried in vain to halt the flight.
