According to a tale from Garde, a woman at Stockvike in Öja lay one night with her unbaptised child while the fire had gone out. When she woke the child was gone, and after a frantic search it was found down by the door where the Evil One had dragged it. The child had no head, but only when the fire was lit again was it whole and sound once more.
