At Kräklingbo it was told how some godless farmhands played cards in the gallery while the priest preached, then carried on for several days in a nearby cottage. A stranger joined and won staggering sums, until a dropped card called for candlelight and exposed his horns and horse's hoof. The priest was summoned and at last forced the Evil One out through a tiny hole in the window lead, leaving the players to seek absolution.
