In Eidskog a man read the evil powers loose, and seven small devils came asking for work. He set them to untie every knot in a fishing net hung up to dry, but it was done in a moment. So he broke wind and bade them catch it. They were gone seven years and returned with the wind in a quill pen, whereupon the man set them to count every grain of sand in the sea.
