In the chapel of the old farmhouse in Gràcia rests the nun said to be in two places at once – and some claim she never stopped.
Can Trilla is one of Gràcia's last surviving masies, a farmhouse dating from the 17th century wedged in among the city blocks. In its chapel rests Ramona Llimargas i Soler, a nun popularly credited with the gift of bilocation – the ability to appear in two places at the same time. Witnesses swore they had met her in different towns on the same day, and her fame grew until even the country's most powerful were said to seek her counsel. After her death, the tomb in Can Trilla's chapel became a destination for quiet pilgrims asking for help. Those who have kept vigil there tell of a veiled female figure glimpsed in the chapel gloom – as if Ramona were still testing her gift, now from the other side.
