In Kiviläbacken by Särkjärvi in Borgå stands a large cracked stone where the devil is said to live. At a funeral he sat on the horse's back so the horse could not pull. Those who looked between the hames and traces could see him sitting there, and only after they sang from the hymnbook did the horses move again. The dead man was said to have been a drunkard.
