In Sibbo, Nyland, a man named Friberg from Nickby boasted that he was so light on his feet he could race the Devil. At the church gate the Devil stepped out and took him at his word. They ran over fields and through forests all night, and the next morning Friberg was found in the Mårtensby forest - alive, but spent.
