Two boy-like devils plagued a croft until the dean forced them out through the window lead.

At Korsudden in Bromarv, near Finnby, two devils named Nix and Nax are said to have dwelt during the Crimean War, seen as boys of ten or twelve. When the crofter set them to fell timber they did everything wrong, then tormented girls and cattle. At last the dean Hedberg was fetched, who pricked the window lead with an awl, and the two were forced to writhe out with loud shrieks.
