In Helsinge a very fine gentleman came to a poor old woman on Easter night and wished to buy her splendid hair. After a moment's hesitation she let him cut off the braid. The gentleman tossed a silver coin on the table and vanished, but the coin at once turned into a piece of wood. Soon after, the woman died.
