A farmer hid in the sorcerer's stable and saw a fine gentleman drive in - so that the houses shook.

A farmer in Lappfjärd who had lost his horse sought out a famous sorcerer in Övermark and hid in his stable loft. At night a stately gentleman drove into the yard, was welcomed by the sorcerer, and revealed where the horse lay wedged in the forest. The gentleman wanted to break the farmer's neck but could not, for the man had been praying all the while.
