One night the planks began to lift by themselves, and a cat the size of a dog guarded the door.

In a half-built cabin in Lappfjärd, two workmen are said to have been disturbed one evening by violent bangs, gusts of wind and an unexplained dread that drove them out of the house. When they returned, a huge grey cat met them in the doorway while unseen forces heaved the woodpile on the yard. Only around one in the morning did everything fall silent.
