In Nuckö in Läänemaa some men were threshing when one wagered that he could hang himself by a strand of woollen yarn. He asked the others to cut the yarn once he hung. Just as he began, the Evil One came into the barn in the shape of a white hare; all rushed off after it, and when they returned the man hung dead.
