Near Rötkel church at Wilkilby on Nuckö lie stones bearing the mark of a horse's hoof and four hollows read as finger-prints. The legend tells that the devil carried masses of stone in his apron to build a dam across the bay, but when the cock crowed he let the stones fall, and they still cover the region, while he pressed his prints into the two stones.
