Hiiumaa · Estland · Natural site
Enraged by the finished church, the dark one gripped a stone so hard five fingers sank in, but the cock stopped him.
When the church at Pyhalepa on Dagö was finished, the devil grew so angry that he flung a boulder at it but missed. In a fury he gripped the stone so hard that five fingers sank in and a piece broke off, and set his foot against the chip so the hoofprint still shows. Just as he was about to crush the church, the cock crowed and he had to yield. The stone is called the Devil's Stone and stands by the church.
